I'm Pregnant!

So for those of you that didnt know...I'm pregnant! And this is our little bundle of joy!...at 8 weeks.

Of course I'm actually not anywhere near 8 weeks along. I'm actually 17 1/2 weeks along. I know...kinda waiting a long time before saying something. It's not that I didnt want to, its just that being on the computer longer then a half an hour makes me feel so sick...up until recently that is. So I'm finally feeling up to posting about things. I'm due September 29, 2011 and we find out what we're having in just 2 weeks. I can't tell you how excited we are. Eric absolutely loves this little ultrasound picture and he can hardly wait to get another one.

So I'm past the "I feel sick all the time" stage, but I get this fun thing where I get kinda sqwimish at certain sights or smells. But other then that, sickness is gone. Although I am having trouble sleeping, being comfortable while I sleep, and then waking up with back pain. So that's no fun. I'm getting rounder each week, which means I get this awful stretching pain on the side and bottom of my stomach, but I figure things could be way worse. So I should just be happy that baby and me are healthy still/so far.

In other non-baby related news, Eric's work is keeping him busy. Which is good for us, it means our bills are going to be paid...on time! Ok, so we've never not paid our bills on time, but its nice not having to check how much money is in the bank to see when we should pay. So Eric started out this year possibly going away for the entire summer...without me. But ever since the baby he's been working so incredibly hard to make sure he can be here for us. I love him so much and I'm so proud of him. So it turns out that within all this hard work he might have to be in California for a month and then possibly live in vegas for a little while, but things are certainly not set in stone. However, if this is what happens, I've decided that it's much more do-able then his pervious locations of Texas or Chicago.

So with how much work Eric has been doing we actually have money to buy baby stuff. I'm super excited for that because the baby isnt even here and I was worried how we we're going to provide for him/her. So its definately a load off my mind...well for now at least. So thats about it. I'll try and post some pictures later. Pictures are not my strong point, so hopefully I'll get the desire to do one soon.

I Feel....

OVERWHELMED!!! It's only Jan. 24th and I'm already in shock of how 2011 is treating me. I feel like I can't quite seem to get ahead. Have you ever had one of those days were all you wanna do is cry...or pout...or be angry...etc. I've been feeling that lately mostly because a lot has happened. I've recently taken (technically) a 3rd job, I have 3 callings at church, we're still not sure whats going on with our living situation, Eric has 3 callings now and I'm just not sure how we're suppose do everything. We're slowly getting it together, but I feel like life is playing this cruel joke on me. Everytime we feel kind of ahead of the game life decides thats not a possibility. Has anybody ever seen "Father of the Bride 1 & 2"? Pretty much 2 of my favorite movies.

All who've seen this movie know exactly what I'm talking about. On one positive note I do feel like this time around life is getting back to normal quicker. Normally it takes us a few months before we feel like we're getting a handle on things. Just for others information I'm not ranting to get sympathy. I'm just feeling like I need to get it out of my system, which btw I'm already feeling much better just by putting down. I know God gives us these crazy times for a reason and I really have to keep reminding myself lately. It'll all be worth it in the end...I just know it.

Aww....a new year!

So...2010 is gone and like most people I'm going to say that it went by way too fast. It was quite the eventful year. Although nothing really happened to me directly, more like to my family members, it was still a pretty good year. In August my little twin neice and nephew were born. Little bryndle and garrison are probably the sweetest babies in the world. When my sister got married Jamie and Casey came down with their kids and spent a week or so with us. I got so much time with these little angels, it was heaven on earth.

Like I said, totally sweet little angels. I love them so much and can't wait to see them again.

So I mentioned in my last post that my brother got married. I don't know how to get ahold of their wedding pictures, but here are some of their engagment pictures. Dakota and Sara are super cute together and I love them both very much.

So Sara was due to deliver little Ava in November, but Ava had a different plan. She decided to come Oct 4th, 2010, thats 6 weeks early. As early as she was, she only had to stay in the hospital for 1 week. She is such a little sweetheart. The only sad thing is that Sara and Dakota have moved to North Carolina to live with my older sister, Randi, and her family.

In other news, Carly and Tanner got married in the middle of October. It was a pretty fun wedding/dance party. This first picture is an engagment picture and the second one is from the wedding. Tanner is really sweet and Im glad that he's part of our family.

So it seems that babies these days all want to come early. Carly was due on Jan. 21, but little Remmington had a plan of his own. He decided to come 3 weeks early on Jan. 2. Luckily he got to come home from the hospital right away. It was definately good news since we didnt know if being born that early was going to affect him. These pictures are from the day he was born so his poor little face is still swollen.

He really is such a handsome little thing and I love him so much. Plus my sister-in-law, Kellie, is due next month and her little baby girl is dying to come out too. But she needs to stay in awhile longer. Man o man all these babies are "poppin' outta the snow...like daisies!" lol Name that movie?!?!?....haha sorry, bad habit with our family! Anyways....

Christmas was good...we got to celebrate 2 days in a row. It was pretty fun. New Years Eve, however, not so much. I recently got a second job working at Menchies Frozen Yogurt. I worked New Years Eve all night, so it was nothing really special.

Lastly, Eric's sister, Kimmie, is getting married in June. Im super excited for her and Chandler and cant wait for June to come around. AND...my other sister-in-law, Julia, is pregnant with #2. She's due in august and Eric and I are especially excited for everyone and everything thats happening this coming year!

Summer Update

So I have been kinda slackerish about this blog. I'm getting a little bit better, but at the same time...not really. Anyways, so we had stuff happen this summer that i haven't bothered to post. So here we go...

Alright, so this was actually before summer, but i got bored one day and decided to make a cake. It was just a little cake and i was trying out making my own fondant. It didn't go too badly. It was kinda annoying but really fun at the same time. Eric even helped me out...he was such a trooper!

I did some other cakes but just with frosting...I did one for my mother-in-law. I decorated it with cream cheese frosting...which is not a good hold frosting...btw...it melts really fast, which is why its not a good hold frosting. It was white with paisley designs on it. it was pretty cute...i wish i had a picture of it. i also did a tye-dye cake for my sisters 18th birthday. it was cute also...man i wish i was better at taking pictures. Both pictures are on our parents cameras. But if i ever get ahold of those pictures i will put them up.

Also during the time i wasnt really working because we we're going to move i finally had time to redo a dresser and nightstand that we bought a while ago. Like i said, Im horrible at taking pictures so i kinda forgot about taking a before picture....but trust me it looked nasty. It had stains and paper on it that was suppose to look like wood...there's a word for it but i cant think of it right now. So we had to peel off all the nasty stained paper...which was the hardest part, but once that was done it was so much easier to make it look pretty.


Its more of an off whiteish color not white and that the original hardware...its super cute now!

Because the inside was so nasty Eric had a great idea to cover the insides with fabric. I love my crafty man. He has such good ideas.

We also celebrated Eric's 25th birthday. And i want to take the time now to apologize to Eric for being so late. He totally took the time to write me a sweet birthday message and my birthday is after his. So his birthday is June 25th. So this year was the big golden birthday. Im not sure how much it actually matters but nobody mentioned my golden birthday when it came around, so i figured somebody in this relationship should get their golden b-day recognized.

So for Eric's birthday we went to breakfast and then to the pool to watch his niece and nephews swim for a little bit. After that we got an awesome ice cream cake for that night. Later his family came over and we had ourselves a little birthday party. We had the traditional pizza and ice cream cake. And we opened presents. My family was out of town that day, but the next day my family through him a pool party. And had pizza and brownies and more presents! YAY! All in all it was a pretty good couple of days.

Eric i want you to know how much i love and appreciate you. You've been my best friend for the last (almost) 4 years. and i wouldnt trade those years for anything. I absolutely love having you around and i cant wait to have our own offical family together. You are my life and Im not sure what i would do without. I love you babe!

The birthday person gets bumped on the head with their present and then its the birthday persons job to wish something happy/good for the person who bumped them. Its a really fun tradition that teaches you to be more selfless on your birthday.

So other things that happen. oh i got lasik eye surgery and i now have 20/15 vision. I love all of todays technologies. Best of all it didnt even hurt. So all you blind-es out there go get it done...right now! And my sister-in-law had her babies...thats right twins. One little boy and one little girl...so cute trust me! She named them bryndle and garrison. Also my little brother got married and again no pictures from me, but considering i have more pictures this post and i took all of them myself, i have to say Im getting betterish. Oh...we haven't moved yet. Yay! Dont know when we will or where we'll be going but you know we're hanging in there making ends meet. I cant wait for the day we're not pinching pennies anymore, so until then we keep on going. Anyways, i think thats about it for now. We're pretty much all caught up on everything. So i guess until next time.

Birthday time is here!

So Taylor is now 22, and we still haven't gone to Vegas to teach her the dangers of gambling! O_o

We had a nice day together; I bought her a huge pack of muffins because she wouldn't tell me what kind she wanted, and tons of chocolate stuff. Than we went to Cafe Rio for lunch, Despicable Me after that. She just a few things this year, a '10 Pathfinder with all the bells and whistles and Lasik on her eyes. I'm 99% sure she loves them both.

One unexpected surprise present, for me at least, was the 40+ baby snakes that hatched just a few days before her birthday! She is doing much better with the snakes and even watered them while I was in Florida last week! She even looked at some of the pictures of the babies!

Things are looking up, we had some work issues that have taught us some good lessons but we put our heals to the ground and worked hard and now theres a light at the end of the tunnel and lots of options are opening up for us. We still don't know if we'll be staying, moving, or if we move, where to. SO STOP ASKING! =) we'll let everyone know when we know. I promise! (talking to YOU family!) The good news is that there are options from staying in St. George, to Florida, Texas, and although we likely wont take them Chicago and Phoenix.

Back on subject I LOVE Taylor so much and hope she had a wonderful birthday and can't wait to share many, many more with her.

Farewell Tipo

I lost one of my snakes today. He was the 2nd oldest and actually the first snake I ever bought and the first male I ever mated. Sure he was feisty and a biter but all the times he escaped he always came back and was found near the cages. He brought excitement to people to see the aggressive/defensive behavior of a wild animal. I wish I would have cherished him more for his individuality before now. I will miss him.

It's My Turn!

So almost 1 week ago Eric and I celebrated our 1 year anniversary. As he mentioned we went to California and had a ball. We SO needed a vacation! It was a wonderful break from our hectic life. So Eric pretty much covered what happened in California, so I'm just going to talk about how much I love him. :)

Eric is such a wonderful husband. He is constantly putting me first, even when I don't want to see it. Even though it's just us two he makes sure that I am well taken care of. He's my very best friend. He's the one who has always been there for me and will always be there for me. He has made my life so special in every way. I'm so very glad that he wanted to be with me forever. I truely feel like the luckiest person ever to have married him.

Eric Joel...I love you so very much. You are my heart and soul. You make my life feel complete and I can't imagine my life without you now that you're in it. You are my everything and I can't wait to start a family with you and continue enjoying life together.
