Well I wish I was better at blogging, but as of right now I'm not. Maybe one day...until then let's play catch up.
First things first, I had our sweet baby boy. We named him Jude Bennett Davis. He was born a month early on August 31, 2011. We were very surprised to learn that he was coming as soon as he was, but everything went great. And at 9:12pm a 7lb 2ounce 20.5 in little angel came into our lives forever.
Then we moved to Colorado right after thanksgiving. We like it , but we sure do miss being close to family. We're hoping one day we can move a little bit closer because 12 hours is so NOT fun to drive with Jude. Here's to hoping we don't have to live in the snow forever!
Since its been over a year Jude has just celebrated his 1st birthday! He is the light in my life. My sweet little angel boy...my pumpkin pie! I couldn't have asked for a sweeter little boy! I just love him to pieces. He just had his 1 year doctors apt and this kid is growing up way too fast! He's 30.5 in tall, 24.6 lbs, and walking all over the place. His stats are finally starting to look more average compared to the 85% he was in for awhile. He sleeps fabulously through the night, has been since 7 weeks. (oh yeah...I'm that good!) He naps pretty well 2 times a day and is in the process of switching to milk and sippy cups! He's such a big boy. He eats as if we starve him, but you would know that's a lie just by looking at him. He loves his cars and music is already a huge part of his life. Put on some tunes and this kid starts his own dance party. He loves our two doggies and swimming! If he could be outside all day I think he would. If we ever can't seem to make him happy we always have his "small potatoes" cartoon to cheer him up. He is pretty pleasant most of the time and loves kissing and snuggling with mommy and daddy. He says dada with no problem but momma takes a little more convincing. (he can say it though) I like to think he's being reverent with mommy's name...or something like that. He makes the best pouty lip fake cry ever. Eric and I can't help but laugh when he does it.(mean mommy and daddy). He loves his blanky and copying anyone and everyone. He gives high fives, blows kisses, waves bye-bye, and tries his best to fold Hus arms for prayer. He's the best little boy and he fits in perfectly with our family. I just love him so so much!
Well that was, more or less, the shortened version of the last year and a half. One day....I'll be better at this!
